Join our special music class on Sunday 21 June at 5:00PM in honor of the first International Day of Yoga!
This class is a regular Bikram Yoga class, but with music playing during class. You can use your regular class cards for this class and you do not have to register for this class in advance. You can also buy a drop-in for this class. And if this is your first class with us you can also start your introduction week with this class.
Below is a little background information on this first International Day of Yoga:
On December 11 in 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 21 as the International Day of Yoga. The declaration came after the call for the adoption of 21 June as International Day of Yoga by Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. He stated: “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature.”
Beautiful right? See you on the 21st!
(Please note that we will keep our regular Sunday schedule on this day (classes at 9AM, 2:45PM and 5PM), just the 5PM class will be a little extra special ;-))
